MJF Handled 6m Tons of Non-Oil Goods Last Year

TEHRAN During the last Iranian year (started March 20, 2000), more than six million tons of non-oil goods were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports by the Organization of Commerce and Transportation affiliated to the Mostazafan and Janbazan Foundation (MJF), the MJF Public Relations Office reported on Sunday. According to the report, the figure shows a 64-percent growth compared to the previous year's corresponding rate. Some 17 percent of the country's loading and unloading operations during the last year were carried out by the same organization in the ports of Imam Khomeini and Noshahr.
